CARE FOR THE STREET KIDS NIGERIA
Living on the streets can be a harsh reality for many children, with lack of shelter, adequate clothing, and access to basic necessities. But our quest to provide Humanitarian aid in Nigeria took over that in 2020, the Care for the Street Kids project was initiated by the Sallhassy Empowerment Foundation in collaboration with Industrious King and Queen Worlds to bring some relief to the street kids of Maraba.
The project aimed to provide care and support to these vulnerable children by sharing clothes, shoes, books, and other essential items. In addition, the team also distributed food to ensure that the children had a nutritious meal to eat. This act of kindness not only met their immediate needs but also gave them hope and showed them that they are not forgotten.
Through the Care for the Street Kids project, the foundation and its partners demonstrated the power of compassion and solidarity. By taking the time to reach out to these children in need, they were able to make a real difference in their lives and give them a sense of dignity and worth.
As the children’s smiles widened and their eyes lit up with gratitude, it became clear that the Care for the Street Kids project was more than just a charitable initiative – it was a lifeline for those who needed it most. And with continued support and love, these children have a chance to build a better future for themselves, one small act of kindness at a time.
Humanitarian Mission To Flood Victims in Lokoja, Kogi State
In 2024, the Sallhassy Empowerment Foundation, in partnership with ORITSGE Media and Miss Nollywood International, embarked on a humanitarian aid in Nigeria mission to provide aid to flood victims in Kogi Lokoja. The devastating effects of the floods had left many without homes, food, and basic necessities, prompting the urgent need for assistance.
With the generous donations and support from all team members and volunteers, the foundation was able to procure and distribute bags of rice to the affected flood victims. The nutritious and essential food provided a source of sustenance and relief to those who had lost so much in the natural disaster.
The collaborative effort between the foundation, media partner, and beauty pageant Queen exemplified the power of community and compassion in times of crisis.
